¯     ArcheDream is an archetypal mask performance theatre company that combines ancient art forms such as morality plays, allegories, Commedia dell Arte, folk and fairy tales in the modern medium of ultra violet light.

¯     The masks and costumes are all hand painted and glow in a brilliant colour on stage as the enchanting story unfolds into a memorable and uplifting experience that is suitable for all ages.

¯     ArcheDream productions use 2-10 dancers and incorporate movement, character acting, dance, plenty of back stage magic and music to tell the story.  In some productions, ArcheDream also uses a 9Õ by 12Õ screen to support the plot and give an added dimension.

¯     ArcheDream owns and travels with all equipment required to perform indoors and outdoors (as long as the area can be completely dark).  Curtains, sound, lights, costumes, masks and technical staff are all included in the booking price.

¯     The Inspiration for ArcheDreamÕs archetypal mask theatre is derived from the universal qualities that all people share; the human body, breathing, the heartbeat, thinking, feeling, and following the conscience.  All have felt the pleasure in happiness, the shock of failure, and the moment of anger, fear and relief.  ArcheDream plays out stories with these moments personified as characters (or archetypes) who portray our human being.

¯     Higher learning/ educational lectures and slide shows on Apartheid and art appreciation, as well as an array of movement, mask and informational workshops are available.  These courses are suitable for children, parents and the elderly.

¯     ArcheDream was formed from the working partnership of Glenn Weikert and Alan Bell in March 2000.  They met at the Winter Music Conference in Miami, FL.
